Grand Canyon

I’m a very nervous flyer, in fact the first time I’d ever been on a plane was for USA 2016. Oddly I found myself quite calm flying in a helicopter.

We were picked up from our Vegas hotel and taken to the Airport of Papillon.

We flew over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and even an extinct volcano.

We had a lovely tour guide who comically lead us through three states Arizona, Nevada and Utah. Occasionally music was played through our headphones to make the experience even more special.

Then all of a sudden the canyon appeared, in all its glory.

Once we landed we were allowed to roam in the canyon and take as many photos as we liked as our champagne breakfast was being prepared for us.

It was an incredibly surreal experience to have breakfast in such a stunning and iconic location. Yes, I did get a little emotional.
